Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), held on November 17th, thru the 19th in Barcelona, is the international benchmark congress on Smart Cities, development and urban transformation
IoTsens participated in the V edition of Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), representing the national business fabric of smart city by the hand of Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX). This international event, held on November 17th thru the 19th in the grounds of the Gran Fira de Barcelona, brought together leading experts in urban development and transformation.
SCEWC has gathered a total of 500 cities, 450 exhibitors and 400 speakers, as well as various companies and institutions, to give light and relevance to the most innovative solutions for Smart Cities sector.
In this perfect international showcase, IoTsens has set out its proposals for urban solutions and integrated management platforms for Smart Cities, in “Espacio España”, a total of 60 square meters shared by four institutions and seven companies with Spanish headquarter.
Enric Nomdedéu Biosca, Vice Mayor of Castellón, Rafael Simó, Councilor for Planning and Mobility, and Jorge Verchili, Head of Modernization and Quality of Castellón, visited the stand “Espacio España” with Miguel Angel Royo, CEO of IoTsens, who showed them the solutions offered by the company for the optimization of resources in cities and the intelligent management of these.
The conference program with more than 400 speakers, has offered more than 40 sessions planned under six disciplines: technology, society, governance, sustainability, mobility and innovation and startups. The reputation and extensive background of the speakers, technology experts, and prestigious professionals linked to both the public and private sectors and speakers from leading universities such as Harvard University or New York University.
One of the key innovations of this V edition of the congress was the symposium on circular economy mode pointing to reuse and optimize materials and resources through rethinking and redesign of both economic and productive processes.
Both the success of this year as in previous editions has consolidated to Smart City Expo World Congress in the international reference event of Smart Cities, being a fundamental appointment for industry, innovation and urban solutions.
