Miguel Angel Royo explains the experience of IoTsens in the plenary “Companies, innovation, entrepreneurship and society”
IoTsens has participated in Focus Innova SME, the reference meeting to small businesses and innovative entrepreneurs of Valencia, held on November 4th at the Palau de la Música y Congresos in Valencia occasion for the tenth edition of the Day of the Entrepreneur in the Region, organized by CIERVAL.
The macro congress, which has enjoyed the participation of over 3,500 companies and entrepreneurs, has hosted more than 80 activities and two plenary sessions in which reference companies and experts have debated business innovation and the characteristics of European policy framework.
Thus, in the Plenary “Companies, innovation, entrepreneurship and society,” Miguel Angel Royo, CEO of IoTsens explained the experience of the company and the way in which the company start-up and the new line of Internet of Things was developed, the challenges faced and, especially, the role of the vanguard and innovation in this whole process.
IoTsens, horizontal solution for Smart Cities, comes from the combination of innovation and know-how of ADC Infraestructuras y Sistemas, specialized in the development of remote systems and applications. “Innovation is part of our DNA and through new ideas and new lines of business is how it responds to the growing and increasingly demanding needs of society,” said Royo.
Different milestones for 2015 show growth and international projection of IoTsens. Note the selection by the European Commission as a new member of the European Action Cluster Smart Cities in June and the recent recognition on the International Innovation Fair Efiaqua.
Also, the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), has delivered the Focus Innova SMEs Awards, for its Business Career and Internationalization, for which there were more than 140 nominations in order to give recognition to the most innovative startups and Valencian Entrepreneurship.
